Health Careers Opportunities Program

This program is designed to recruit high school, undergraduate, and graduate students from disadvantaged backgrounds into a comprehensive allied health and physician assistant education pipeline, retain them through graduation, and prepare them for primary care careers in underserved communities.

President’s Taskforce on Institutional Inclusion

The President’s Task-force on Institutional Inclusion is comprised of students, faculty, staff and administrators, and is chaired by Vanessa Perez Topczewski, associate dean of diversity, equity and inclusion and Dolores Ocampo Brown, senior director of alumni engagement. The taskforce is charged with the opportunity to evaluate and track campus climate, recommend initiatives, policies, and practices to enhance the University’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, and advise senior leadership on critical diversity, equity and inclusion issues.
