Community Service and Volunteering

The desire to serve and help others is strong at Carroll. It’s part of the Pioneer tradition, from Freshman Day of Service to Alumni Volunteer Day. Getting involved, connecting to the broader community and seeing the impact of your contributions—these are valuable learning experiences that shape you as a person.

Make Time to Make a Difference

It starts with becoming the change you want to see. Giving back is not only a great way to learn more about yourself—you’ll interact with people from different backgrounds and discover the power that comes from working together. And you may find opportunities that complement your field of study and help prepare you for your career.

PIONEER VOLUNTEER CENTER

We’ll connect you to volunteer opportunities throughout greater Waukesha and Milwaukee, ranging from one-day, one-time service projects to ongoing placements. We partner with more than 40 organizations working to improve our community through environmental sustainability, education, poverty alleviation, health care and more.

Freshman Day of Service

Our students log more than 14,000 volunteer hours annually, beginning with Freshman Day of Service during Welcome Week, when the entire incoming class joins together in giving back. It’s an opportunity to make a significant impact on our community and the people who live here.
