Military and Veterans

Carroll University is committed to providing support for those who have served. We recognize that student veterans may have different needs than those of traditional students. The Carroll University Military and Veteran Student Services Program offers assistance for current and former service members and their families as they pursue their academic, career and personal goals at Carroll. We connect you with resources both within and outside the university community to help you achieve success, in addition to those offered by the Carroll Student Veterans Organization (CSVO).

Military Friendly

For three years running, Carroll has been designated a Military Friendly School in an annual list compiled by Victory Media. Universities across the country were surveyed and rated in a number of areas including support for student veterans.

Carroll also offers a dedicated Military/Veteran Student Lounge, located in the Campus Center. You’ll find it’s a great place to study, relax or connect with other student service members and veterans.

The CSVO provides a welcoming community to help current and former service members successfully make the transition to student life. Its mission is to serve as an advocate for student veterans, in any respect, that attend Carroll University by providing essential information and guidance that aids in success and personal growth, as well as camaraderie through activities and events. The CVSO is an affiliated chapter of Student Veterans of America.

Veterans Week features a military memorabilia display, a candy drive for troops & free meals for campus veterans.
Carroll recognizes all graduating military related students with red, white and blue commencement cords.
