Current Carroll University Students should use the internal Course Search feature in the portal. It is the most up to date listing of all courses in any given term.

Consortium for Online Humanities Instruction

The CIC (Council of Independent Colleges and Universities)Online Consortium is a group of Institutions that are working together to create and offer upper level online Arts and Humanities courses.

Students will need to register at their home institution for the course and then complete an additional application form that will be sent to the offering institution. Students pay tuition at their home institution only. There is no additional fee for taking one of these CIC Online Courses.

Locate Textbooks for Courses

To locate textbooks for a Carroll course, choose the session and program (above) to find the course. To find a course within a department, view Department and Course Abbreviations in the catalog. Once you have found the department the course is in, choose that department in the program drop down. Locate the course and click on the book icon to see textbooks.

Credit Hour Policy

Carroll University operates on a semester calendar. One credit equals one hour of instructional time per week. See the full Credit Hour Policy in the catalog.
