This page contains payment information for domestic students. International students should refer to the Payment Methods and Instructions for International Students page.

The payment of tuition, fees, and charges becomes the obligation of the student upon registration at Carroll University and is to be paid no later than the first day of the academic term.

A student may attend classes, take examinations , and be entitled to the benefits of a fully registered student only when all charges have been paid or satisfactory financial arrangements have been approved by the Business Office.

How to View Your Financial Statements

Accepted Payments

Payments can be made online through the Payment Center, found in Self Service at my.carrollu.edu.

  • Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and electronic check are accepted.
  • Convenience fees will be assessed when using a debit or credit card. No convenience fee is assessed on electronic check payments.
  • Full or partial payments can be made at any time before the due dates
  • For security reasons, credit or debit card payments cannot be accepted via telephone
  • International Students – Pay with foreign currency online

Payments will also be accepted by mail and in person at the Carroll University Business Office, located in Voorhees Hall, Ground Level 19, 100 N. East Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186.

Acceptable methods of payment include cash or check at the Business Office cashier window. Debit and/or credit card payments on student account balances will not be accepted.

Late Fees in the amount of $45.00 will be assessed monthly on any overdue balance (overdue balance: unpaid balance that is over 30 days old) of $120.00 or greater.

Payment Options

Please review the two payment options available for undergraduate students and graduate students who are not enrolled in three semesters. If you are a graduate student enrolled in three semeters click here.
  1. Payment Option One: Payment in full on or before the first day of the semester.

  2. Payment Option Two: Online Payment Plan
    • Carroll Online Monthly Payment Plan arrangement. There is a four month payment plan available for graduate students for summer, fall and spring semester. There are three plans available each semester for undergradute students. Choose from a four, five or six-month plan each semester to cover the balance due on your student account after tuition, fees, late fees, and other expenses have been offset with your financial aid and any down payment you may have made. Your monthly payment will be based on the total outstanding balance on your student account for the current semester. A $50.00 enrollment fee is associated with this option each semester. The enrollment fee is a non-refundable fee.
    • Students can enroll in a monthly payment plan in their Self-Service portal at my.carrollu.edu.
    • How to enroll in a payment plan

Note:  Students interested in the six-month payment plan should know upon enrolling some charges such as housing and meal plans, and financial aid may not be finalized yet. Once charges and Financial Aid is finalized, payment plans monthly amounts will automatically adjust; and an emailent out to the students. Payment Due Dates

Due Dates for Payment in Full

Summer 2026: May 10, 2026
Fall 2026: August 30, 2026
Winter/Spring 2027: January 17, 2027


Summer Plans Available

Summer signup begins mid-April.
  • 3-month plan: June through August 2026
  • 4-month plan: May through August 2026

  • Billing date is the 10th of each month. The due date is the 25th of each month.
  • A $50.00 enrollment fee is associated with this option each semester. The enrollment fee is a "non-refundable" fee.


Fall Plans Available

Fall signup begins early July.
  • 6-month plan: July through December 2026.
    • Note:  Students interested in the six-month payment plan should know that upon enrolling, some charges, such as housing and meal plans, and financial aid, may not be finalized yet. Once charges and Financial Aid are finalized, the payment plans monthly amounts will automatically adjust, and an email will be sent out to the students. Spring Plans Available

Spring signup begins Mid December.
 

If you participate in the Fall online payment plan and choose to enroll in the Spring payment plan, access to Spring enrollment will be blocked until your Fall balance has been satisfied, and the Fall program has been closed (approximately December 25, 2026).

  • 6-month plan: January through June 2027.
  • 5-month plan: January through May 2027.
  • 4-month plan: February through May 2027.

Important Information:

  • A $50.00 enrollment fee is associated with this option each semester. The enrollment fee is a "non-refundable" fee.

Payment Plan Arrangements Run by Semester

If you were enrolled in a payment plan arrangement for Fall, you will need to re-enroll to participate in a payment plan arrangement for Spring and Summer terms.

If you enroll in a monthly payment plan after a payment due date has passed (the scheduled due date is the 25th of each month for the duration of the plan), the system will require payment of the $50.00 enrollment fee and any past-due installments.

For example: On August 27, 2026 you decide that you would like to enroll in a six-month payment plan for Fall. The six-month plan runs from July through December. Upon enrollment, the system will require payment of the $50.00 enrollment fee, the August scheduled installment, and the past-due July scheduled installment - OR

On February 11, 2027, you decide to enroll in a six-month plan for Spring. The six-month plan runs from January through June. Upon enrollment, the system will require payment of the $50.00 enrollment fee and the past-due January scheduled installment.

*Monthly payment plan arrangements are subject to late fees. A late fee of $45.00 per month will be charged if the scheduled monthly payment is not received by the due date.

Any payment plan that ends with a balance still owed, those students will be placed on hold and could be dropped from the next semester's classes if not paid within 10 days of the plan closing.

If you enroll in the "AutoPay" option associated with the online payment plan arrangement, you will need to set up the "AutoPay" information each semester.

Students can enroll in a monthly payment plan in their Self-Service portal at my.carrollu.edu.

How to Enroll in a Payment Plan

Payment Details for 3 Semester Graduate Students

Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Spring 2027

  1. Payment Option One: ​Pay in full on or before the first day of the academic term.
  2. Payment Option Two: Carroll Online Payment Plan
    • Enroll in a four-month payment plan arrangement for Summer 2026. Signup begins mid-April 2026.
      • 4 -month plan: June 2026 through September 2026
    • Enroll in a four-month payment plan arrangement for Fall 2026. Signup begins early July, 2026
      • 4-month plan: October 2026 through January 2027
    • Enroll in a four-month payment plan arrangement for Spring 2027. Signup begins mid December, 2026.
      • 4-month plan: February 2027 through May 2027

    • Important Information:
      • Billing date is the 10th of each month. Due date is the 25th of each month.
      • A $50.00 enrollment fee is associated with this option each semester. The enrollment fee is a "non-refundable" fee.
      • Monthly payment plan arrangements are subject to late fees. A late fee of $45.00 per month will be charged if the scheduled monthly payment is not received by the due date.
      • If you enroll in the "AutoPay" option associated with the online payment plan arrangement, you will need to set up the "AutoPay" information each semester.
      • Any plan that ends with a balance still owed, those students will be placed on hold and could be dropped from the next semester's classes if not paid within 10 days of the plan closing.

  3. Payment Option Three: Provide a letter of company sponsorship and/or third-party billing to the Carroll University Business Office on or before the first day of the academic term. This letter must confirm full payment regardless of the student's performance in the course. Payment should be made payable to Carroll University, and remitted directly to Carroll University: Carroll University ATTN: Financial Aid 100 N East Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186.
