We are proud to share that the Carroll community came together on #GivingTuesday to raise a more than $182,000 for the Carroll Fund and student scholarships.
On Nov. 30, the university surpassed its #CUonGivingTuesday fundraising goal, collecting a total of $182,216.72. We are so grateful for all Carroll alumni, friends and family who generously donated gifts on “The Power of 1 Day” to create countless opportunities for our students.
“We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from the Carroll community,” said Lindsay Schoettlin, senior advancement officer for Annual Giving. “These crucial gifts will allow students to thrive here at Carroll for years to come.”
This is the first year we have seen such large participation numbers from alumni and students! The way that the Carroll community has stepped up is truly impressive.
In addition, the Alumni Council set forth a challenge this year to match $1,846 if we secured 175 gifts or more from alumni, in honor of Carroll’s 175th anniversary. The challenge was not only met but exceeded! Alumni gifts were made from 226 Pioneers, for a total of $136,703.92. the Alumni Council alone recorded additional donations, resulting in $7,362 additional to The Carroll Fund and student scholarships.
We are so grateful for your participation and demonstrated stewardship. You did it, Pioneers!
