About Interprofessional Education at Carroll
Mission:
The mission of IPE at Carroll is to support Interprofessional Education across the Carroll University campus to provide service to the community and prepare students to be “collaborative practice-ready” members of their professions.
Objectives:
The Interprofessional Education (IPE) Committee will design a standardized IPE framework grounded in the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) competencies to support an interprofessional education curriculum in the Carroll University College of Health Sciences and other applicable University programs.
The IPE Committee will facilitate and support Carroll University faculty and programs in developing interprofessional education, didactic, experiential and simulated learning activities.
The IPE Committee will facilitate and support the development of partnerships with local community organizations to collaborate on interprofessional clinical training and patient-centered care, which acknowledges local community needs and health promotion.
The IPE Committee will evaluate Carroll University's interprofessional education programs' effectiveness.
