The 36 credit HYBRID Master of Arts in Teaching program is a 17-month hybrid, weekend model. Cohorts meet in-person (classroom-live) or virtual (online-live) four weekends per semester and complete online coursework weekly. Candidates complete a 30-hour practicum during semesters 1–3. In the fourth and final semester, candidates will complete full time student teaching during a K-12 semester, approximately 18-20 weeks.
Hybrid model is a flexible learning environment that allows the candidate the option to attend either in-person or virtually each weekend. All in-person (classroom-live) classes are held on the Carroll University campus and virtual (online-live) is supported by our video communication service provider. Weekend classes are on Fridays from 5–9 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m.– 4:30 p.m.
