An inside look at the Carroll University Arts program.
The Art + Design program is a unified and exploratory approach to teaching and learning in Studio Art, Art Education, and Graphic Design. The major is distinguished by multi-disciplinary teaching methods in both analog and digital media across all visual specialiations, and by a common set of foundation courses that build a strong student community. Concept development and creative risk-taking are introduced early in the curriculum. The immersive and experiential learning experiences throughout the curriculum equip graduates for a career of their choice in the arts.
Students will also engage in collaborative and experiential projects such as gallery installations, senior exhibitions, and client-based design challenges. Students will achieve either a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree depending on their specialiaztion.
