Peer Advisor Team

Peer Advisors at Academic Advising Services provide academic mentoring for students and disseminate information to support faculty and full-time academic advisors.

Peer Advisors assist students by:
  • Facilitating 'Advising Warm-Up Sessions'
  • Providing drop-in assistance to any student who visits Academic Advising Services
  • Making appropriate referrals across campus
  • Creating individual academic (four-year) plans for any major/minor/emphasis
  • Providing advising and registration assistance for students

Academic Mentorship Program

Members of the Academic Mentorship Program are student volunteers who provide mentoring for first-year students under the supervision of the Peer Advisors.
