Sentry Building Clinic

In service to the Waukesha community, Carroll's prestigious physical therapy program oversees two large clinical areas in the Sentry building as the pro-bono Therapeutic Abilities Clinic (TAC). At TAC, Carroll graduate physical therapy students oversee clients who do not have health insurance and who may have problems due to stroke, cerebral palsy, or other illnesses and conditions. The students help clients set and achieve goals that are specific to their needs and lifestyles. The clinic also has a social component, as many of the clients bond with the students during their work. In addition to the clinical spaces, the Sentry building contains four simulation spaces—complete with high-fidelity medical manikins—and skills-check areas to hone student skills.
