What is your teaching style?
I frequently use stories when I teach because many students remember the real-life situations more clearly than memorizing facts and figures. The stories place the students in the situation so they can better witness the experience. Many nursing students are hands-on learners, which is why I like to bring props so the students can fully engage all of their learning senses and abilities.
Why do you do what you do?
I have the best job in the world! I get to share my knowledge of obstetrics and help students on their journey of discovery.
What should students know about you?
I am very excited to teach at this level. I have a lot of passion and positive energy, and feel fortunate to partner with students in their learning.
