Biography
Sharon Madsen currently works for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) as an Education Consultant on the Special Education Team. She also serves as an Adjunct Instructor in the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) graduate program at Carroll University in the area of special education. She currently teaches Creating Inclusive Learning Environments, and Collaboration for Academic, Social and Career Development of Students with Disabilities. Sharon enjoys working in educator preparation and sharing her passion for education and inclusion with others. Prior to working for DPI and Carroll University, Sharon spent 14 years as a general education and special education teacher at the elementary level.
Sharon and her husband, Seth, live in Deforest with their two daughters, Abigail and Naomi, and two cats. In her spare time, Sharon enjoys drawing, yoga, hiking, and traveling.
