What is your teaching style?

My teaching style is adaptive and student-centered, focusing on recognizing and responding to the diverse needs of my students. I incorporate a variety of methods, including hands-on demonstrations, small group discussions, and visual aids, to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Why do you do what you do?

I am passionate about education and committed to helping students become future professionals in exercise science. My diverse background in clinical work and teaching roles have fueled my desire to inspire and equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

How do you make learning engaging?

I endeavor to actively involve students in the process. I pose questions to stimulate discussion, use case-based learning to relate material to real-world scenarios, and incorporate humor to create a relaxed atmosphere. I also encourage hands-on participation to reinforce concepts and enhance retention.

What should students know about you?

I genuinely care about student success and well-being. I encourage open communication and feedback, and I want to understand individual motivations and needs. I believe that our interactions enrich both the student learning experience and my growth as an educator, making our classroom a collaborative space for discovery.
