What is your teaching style?

I strive to meet students where they are and help them increase their confidence and reading and writing skills. Working with a diverse group of learners I am committed to creating a classroom where everyone feels welcome and be engagement. Using a diverse learning style with group discussions, lab hours, mini lectures, group work and more, students learn about writing and reading in many different teaching styles.

How do you make learning engaging?

I make learning engaging by providing many different types of writing assignments and reading from different texts so students are exposed to a wide variety of sources. This helps students learn what styles they like most and offering assignments that allow students to write about subjects that interest them.

What should students know about you?

I have always a plethora of candy in the Reading and Writing Lab.
