Biography

  • As a Registered Nurse, I offer an array of teaching, clinical and professional experiences that will assist in the professional development of student nurses pursuing higher learning.  Additionally, I have worked in the various clinical and professional settings to enhance and develop my teaching experiences.  I am a dedicated member of the Aurora Health Care system. As an Expert nurse employed in various positions, I cared for patients with complex medical conditions
  • As a Nurse Educator, I was employed at Milwaukee School of Engineering 2008-2013. Additionally, as a Nurse Educator, at Marquette University in the Junior and Senior levels of nursing.
  • As a Primary Care Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, my practice model is to provide patient-family centered care to a diverse population of vulnerable patients. Areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, acute and chronic complex health conditions, health promotion, disease prevention and management, health education and counseling. Currently, practicing in the Post- Acute Network, to service patients in Wisconsin and Illinois.
  • As a Doctor of Nursing Practice provider, I possess the highest degree of nursing expertise in the clinical setting to provide evidenced-based practice, quality improvement, and health care reform. I work within a large health care organization to facilitate and maintain policy, enhance reform, and provide for the health and well-being of patients with positive outcomes to reduce health disparities and improve the lives of the clients that we serve.
