Fatphobia, Body Positivity and Social Justice: Presentation by Dr. Laurie Cooper Stoll

What is fatphobia and how does it relate to oppression? What cultural biases do we have towards body size?

Discover the answers to these questions and much more this Oct. 23, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Humphrey Memorial Chapel at the Fatphobia, Body Positivity, and Social Justice Convocation event.

Take advantage of this amazing opportunity to listen to Dr. Laurie Cooper Stoll, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, as she discusses fatphobia, body acceptance, privilege, and what you can do to show support for those who are body shamed.

Students must attend the entire event in order to earn a convocation point.
