The Pios Chapter of  the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) was established in October 2019 and inducted its first seven members in December 2019. NRHH is a national honor society focusing on leadership and is comprised of residential students who value service and recognition.

NRHH advocates for the interests and welfare of residence hall students, while also providing opportunities for their personal growth and development. NRHH strives to provide recognition for individuals who have contributed to the advancement of college and university housing. It ensures the advancement of member chapters through resource sharing, programming, and leadership development opportunities.

The Pios Chapter of NRHH is nationally recognized by the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH) and is affiliated regionally with Great Lakes Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (GLACURH). On campus NRHH works closely with the Office of Residence Life and Housing as well as Residence Hall Association (RHA).

The chapter members represent the top 1% of the student leaders on campus and are those who have contributed extraordinary amounts of personal time and energy in order to make the residence halls more than a “dorm.”

Bronze Pin

This award is the highest individual honor given by the RHA or NRHH President. The pin shall be awarded to individuals who have provided leadership and direction to their campus organizations.

Outstanding Service Awards

This award is designed to recognize those who have demonstrated outstanding support and service to an NRHH Chapter and residence hall students. This may include but is not limited to housing personnel, instructors, or college and university staff.  provided leadership and direction to their campus organizations.​

Outstanding Leadership Award
