Carroll University is ranked among the top regional universities in the Midwest, according to U.S. News and World Report’s 2022 Best Colleges rankings.

Carroll earned multiple spots on the badge-eligible list of 2022 Best Colleges because of its high rankings among Midwest Regional Universities:

  • Best Value – #31
  • Best Colleges for Veterans – #15
  • Regional Universities Midwest – #13

U.S. News badges are widely recognized as symbols of excellence in higher education. Universities may use these scores to enhance their outreach efforts and to recruit top students and faculty.

“Every year, Carroll appears on lists of the best colleges and universities in the country based on the top tier faculty, programs and services we offer,” said Teege Mettille, vice president of enrollment. “We are proud to yet again be ranked among the top regional universities in the Midwest.”

The “Best Value” category highlights schools that score above average academically, but also cost significantly less than other schools when financial aid is considered. Only schools that placed in the top half of the country for academics were considered.

U.S. News' college profile pages benchmark each school's relative performance across different ranking indicators and include many of the latest statistics used in the calculations—such as the student-faculty ratio and the average federal loan debt of graduates.
