Hilary Teachout ’15 and Evan Metzger ’17

It all started at Relay for Life in April of 2014 in Van Male. Evan caught my eye with his impressive (and crazy) dance moves. We bumped into each other again the next day at the Student Organization Banquet in the ballroom. Evan was attending with Funny Bone Mafia, while I was there with my sisters of Alpha Xi Delta. Evan sent me a Facebook friend request the next night, and we stumbled into each other walking opposite directions down College Avenue awhile later.

We agreed we should probably hang out sometime, and the rest is history! We continued to date for the duration of our time spent at Carroll. We both graduated in May of 2017, Evan with his Bachelor’s of Exercise Science and I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy. We became engaged in September of 2018 and are getting married this October! We're so thankful for our time at Carroll University and how it brought us together.
