An EEG Certificate provides a flexible, streamlined path for those interested in a career change or anyone seeking a quicker route to a professional role. This program offers an accelerated 21-credit design composed of six existing courses from Carroll’s accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology (NDT) program. With national shortages of Neurodiagnostic Technologists (estimated 26,000 future jobs) students will quickly fill positions with incredible career growth potential.
Curriculum and Completion
The curriculum is based on the Committee Accredited for Education in Neurodiagnostic Technology (CoA-NDT) established by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Students will qualify for the national American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) EEG registration examination. Successful completion of this exam allows students to seek employment as EEG Technologists.
Clinical hours and days will vary depending on the location the student has been matched with. Students must complete 350 unpaid clinical hours during the spring semester to earn the certificate.
