Information Technology
Minor
Information Technology Minor
In the information technology minor, you’ll begin by exploring how to utilize computer programming to problem solve and then move on to a study of informational databases and their typical uses in the business world.
You’ll also delve inside the computer as you study the organization and architecture of today’s central processing unit (CPU), step back for an examination of the broad field of data communications and networking and then gain an understanding of information technology management and e-commerce.
Finally, you may select additional study in such areas as web programming, database design and mobile app development. This minor is often paired with a major in
business administration
or
mathematics
.
