Exchange Students

Every year we welcome students from around the globe to study for one semester or one year at Carroll University. Exchange students become active members of the warm and welcoming campus community while earning credits toward their studies at their home universities. As an exchange student, you will have full access to all university facilities and participate in Carroll’s many extracurricular opportunities including athletics, theater, musical performances and guest lectures, along with many organizations and clubs.

Nominations

Exchange students come to Carroll University as part of a reciprocal exchange agreement Carroll maintains with several partner universities. Exchange students must be nominated by their home universities to attend Carroll for one or two semesters. If your institution is listed on our Exchange Partners page, please contact the international programs coordinator at your home institution to inquire about study at Carroll University. Nominations should include the term(s) of study for which the student wishes to attend Carroll University and a copy of the student's passport.

Application

After receiving approval from your institution, students should complete the Exchange Student Application Form. Be sure to indicate your exchange student status in your application- this will ensure we request the appropriate materials from you during your application period.
