Carroll University is committed to providing support for those who have served. We recognize that student veterans may have different needs than those of traditional students. The Carroll University Military and Veteran Student Services Program offers assistance for current and former service members and their families as they pursue their academic, career and personal goals at Carroll. We connect you with resources both within and outside the university community to help you achieve success.

Carroll University has been recognized for exemplary initiatives supporting active-duty and veteran students.

In 2022, the university opened a new Veterans House as a resource for all military and veteran students. The house serves as space dedicated to current and former service members and their families as they pursue their academic, career and personal goals at Carroll University.

  • Named for: The CDR Dan F. Shanower ’83, USN Veterans House was dedicated in 2023 in memory of CDR Shanower who died in the 9/11 attacks at the Pentagon.
