The Sullivan Business, Engineering & Technology Scholar Award
Spring 2026 Application Deadline: December 1, 2025
The Sullivan Scholar Awards provide scholarship funds to qualified students. Selection for these awards is based on demonstrated, academic promise in the field of business, engineering & technology. The scholarship fund is provided by Timothy W. Sullivan '75, an alumnus and current Chairman of BitFire, Inc., a Phoenix, Arizona-based production and transmission company in live TV broadcasting, entertainment, and business.
Amount of Scholarship
The recipients of the Sullivan Scholar Award will receive a scholarship benefit each year for up to four years. The amount of this award will range from $1,000 - $5,000 each year, based on the applicant’s qualifications. The recipient will be eligible for additional Carroll scholarships or grants.
Conditions of Eligibility
- The applicant must be a first-year, transfer, or adult student who has been accepted to Carroll University as a full-time student for the spring 2026 term, with a cumulative high school or transfer GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- The applicant must intend to pursue a degree in one of the following approved majors in the Sullivan School of Business, Engineering & Technology: Accounting, Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Drone Engineering, Finance, Health Care Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing, or Mechanical Engineering.
- The recipient of the Sullivan Business, Engineering & Technology Scholar Award must maintain a 3.0 GPA in all accredited courses.
Conditions of Competition for Spring 2026 Applicants
- Application deadline for spring 2026 students - all application materials must be received on or before December 1, 2025.
- Applicants should submit a current resume and statement of interest to be considered.
- The applicant must possess an outstanding academic record and show strong potential for the same high achievement at the college level. Extracurricular activities and leadership experiences will also be considered.
- Interview Date - Applicants must schedule a virtual interview. Interviews will be held virtually on the following dates: December 10-17 (excludes the weekend).
- The recipients will be selected by a Scholarship Selection Committee after careful review of the credentials of all candidates.
