Job Title – Human Resources Reception Team Member

Purpose of Job

The Human Resources Reception Team Member will assist the Human Resources department staff in the daily operations of the Human Resources reception desk and represent the Human Resources team as the first person individuals see when entering the office.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as first contact receptionist for the HR Department front desk.
  • Answer phone calls by providing excellent customer service.
  • Deliver mail and other related items to recipients on campus.
  • Coordinate resources, information and related materials to support Human Resources projects and programs.
  • Assist in maintaining employment records and files for University personnel.
  • Assistant in electronic scanning of employee files.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of on-campus employee events.
  • Perform general clerical support.
  • Support Human Resources staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate student
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality is essential
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
