Job Title – Office Worker

Purpose of Job

  • To contribute to student success at Carroll University by supporting CU Central in academic advising, registration, and records services. This includes educating undergraduate students on academic planning processes, policies, and curriculum; helping them prepare for meetings with their academic advisor; and providing customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while offering clerical support to CU Central staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line customer service in person, over the phone, and via email to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
  • Perform general office duties including scanning and checking documents, filing hardcopy and electronic records, and assisting staff with various projects.
  • Assist with the registration process, including student schedules, locating and completing required forms, and explaining university policies and procedures.
  • Refer students to appropriate professional or faculty advisors, university departments and offices, and other campus resources.
  • Maintain familiarity with academic requirements and curriculum information as outlined in the Carroll University Academic Catalog and other official resources.
  • Facilitate one-on-one Individual Academic (Four-Year) Planning Appointments.
  • Support CU Central events for students, faculty, staff, and parents/supporters. 
  • Serve as a student representative for Carroll University by providing general support to all teams within the Enrollment Services department.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
