Job Title – Admissions Ambassador
Purpose of Job
Admission Ambassadors are undergraduate students hand-picked for jobs in the Admissions
office, as they are often the first Carroll representative prospective students and
families meet. Admission Ambassadors are influential in helping prospective students
and their families decide whether Carroll might be a good fit. Ambassadors duties
including providing tours, working check-in, organizing mail, but most importantly
are knowledgeable representatives of Carroll University.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Give campus tours to prospective students & families, including Saturday tours
- Give group tours to area high schools and organizations
- Work the lobby check-in desk – greet all guests, and assist with opening/closing the
office
- Office tasks – prepping & organizing bulk mail, folder making & stocking supplies
- Assist with tour coordinating
- Participate in Recruitment & Open House events
- Print & organize admissions mail
- Phone Campaign – answering prospective student’s questions
- Assisting with admission counselor projects
- Provide virtual tours
- Record informative and personable videos to welcome future Carroll University students
as they begin their journey at Carroll
