Department – Physical Plant
Job Title – Grounds Worker
Purpose of Job
- To care for and maintain campus grounds to include landscape beds and lawns
- To perform other duties as assigned
- Help set up multiple types of sports fields
- Assist with moves assigned in and outside of campus buildings
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lawn mowing and trimming
- Plant bed care (weeding, watering and mulching)
- Remove snow and ice from campus walks, steps and ramps
- Pick up and remove trash from campus grounds
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work out of doors in all types of weather
- Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities
