Job Title – School Student Worker
Purpose of Job
Assist faculty, staff, and students of the School of Education and Human Services
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sit at main reception desk and greet students/faculty/visitors
- Answer questions as you are able
- Refer students to others in the department for answers to questions
- Take paperwork from students and refer to the proper person
- Update databases
- Assist faculty with building out canvas quizzes
- Prepare mailings (label envelopes, fold and stuff envelopes)
- Organize paperwork
- Copy course materials for faculty
- May be asked to assist with admissions events and campus days to represent the School
- Monitor the Ed Hall classroom whiteboards, desks, tables, chairs for needed cleaning,
restocking, and organizing
- Inventory the stock in the copy room
- Sort mail as it is delivered daily
- Other duties as assigned by faculty, or staff of SEHS or supervisor
Job Qualifications
- Know how to alphabetize
- Be trustworthy and maintain confidentiality with information and documents
- Have sufficient skill with MS Word and Excel
- Have knowledge of campus resources and offices
- Possess good inter-personal skills
- Be flexible, patient and kind
