Suite-Style Halls

Shirley Hilger Hall, formerly New Hall, was dedicated and named for the late Shirley Hilger, a beloved Carroll staff member who worked in the Office of Admission. Each suite includes two double-occupancy rooms joined by one common bathroom. The building has air conditioning, an elevator, and the second and third floors each have a galley kitchen with a microwave, toaster oven, sink and toaster. It also has conference rooms, offices, the Office of Information Technology and a lower-level Technology Center with classrooms and computer labs. The building is conveniently attached to the university's Campus Center, allowing residents easy access to dining options and social spaces. Main Hall is a four-minute walk from Hilger's main entrance.

Frontier Hall features suite-style accommodations for 231 students on the upper three floors in four or five-person suites. Each unit has private bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living area and kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Frontier Hall offers air conditioning, elevators and Pioneer Card access to exterior doors and to each unit. It also has limited underground parking and full kitchens with microwave, stove and refrigerator in common areas on each floor. The ground floor houses the Carroll University Idea Lab, Crave dining location and other retail outlets. Main Hall is just a short seven-minute walk away.

Pioneer Hall is a co-ed, four-story residential community housing 264 residents in four-person suites. Each unit has private bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living area and kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Pioneer Hall has air conditioning, elevators and Pioneer Card access to exterior doors and to each unit. Other amenities include limited underground parking, full kitchens with microwave, stove and refrigerator in common areas on each floor, as well as the Pioneer Fitness Center constructed in Summer 2020 on the ground floor. Located on the western edge of Carroll's campus, Pioneer Hall provides easy access to Hartel Field, and is only a six-minute walk from Main Hall.

Prairie Hall is a co-ed, three-story residential community housing 128 residents in four or five-bedroom suites. Each unit has private bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living area and kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Prairie Hall offers air conditioning, elevators and Pioneer Card access to exterior doors and to each unit. Other amenities include limited underground parking, full kitchens with microwaves, stove and refrigerator in common areas on each floor, lounge and study areas. The ground floor features the RecSports Fitness Center workout facility. You can reach Main Hall in just a short five-minute walk.
