Carroll University and Menaul School have established a new collaboration designed to provide students with a more intentional and supportive pathway from high school to higher education. The partnership centers on individualized guidance, academic readiness and long-term student success.
This unique collaboration reflects a shared commitment to student-centered education and the belief that successful college transitions are built through early preparation, clear communication and meaningful relationships. Together, the schools aim to create a seamless experience for students as they explore college options and prepare for the expectations of higher education.
“At Carroll University, we know that students are most successful when they are known, supported and guided as individuals,” said Dr. Cindy Gnadinger, President of Carroll University. “This partnership with Menaul School reflects a shared belief that preparation for college is not transactional. It requires relationships, clear communication and consistent support long before a student arrives on campus.”
Through the partnership, Menaul School students will have expanded opportunities to engage with Carroll University faculty, admissions professionals and student support teams. These experiences may include advising conversations, informational programs and on-campus or virtual engagement opportunities to help students make informed decisions about their future.
Faculty and staff from both institutions will also collaborate to align expectations related to academic preparation and student support, ensuring students arrive at college with a clear understanding of both academic rigor and available resources.
“Menaul School is intentionally structured around small communities and personal mentorship,” said Menaul School President and Head of School, Julie Bean. “This collaboration allows our students to experience that same level of individual attention as they begin exploring colleges and building relationships that help them approach the transition with confidence.”
The connection between Carroll University and Menaul School was facilitated through the Association of Presbyterian Colleges and Universities (APCU), which brings together schools with a shared historical mission to serve students. In tandem, they are reinforcing a shared focus on community, individualized attention and student success—helping students navigate one of the most important transitions in their educational journey with purpose and support.
