Greetings, Pio friends!
I hope this note finds you well as we begin another busy year of Carroll connections.
One of the joys of chairing the
Alumni Council is hearing from alumni across generations who share a common desire to stay engaged with our university community. If you've been thinking about deepening your involvement with Carroll, I'd love to invite you to consider joining the Alumni Council. We're looking for passionate, committed alumni from all backgrounds, class years, professions and locations who want to help shape the future of alumni engagement. Whether you're able to offer your professional expertise, your creative ideas or simply your time and enthusiasm, the Council offers a rewarding way to give back.

Speaking of shaping the future, I'm thrilled to share that our Alumni Council is deep into an exciting strategic planning process. We're developing a comprehensive plan that will guide our work and ensure we're serving the diverse needs of our
27,000+ alumni around the globe. This planning process includes gathering input from alumni like you about what matters most—from networking opportunities and local alumni events to ways we can better support current students. Your voice matters in this work, and I'm energized by the thoughtful conversations we're having about how to make Carroll alumni engagement even more meaningful and inclusive.

Finally, I encourage all alumni, wherever you are, to participate in
Carroll's Month of Service throughout February. This is one of my favorite traditions because it embodies what it means to be a Pioneer—using our talent, time and experience to serve others in our communities. Whether you volunteer your time at a local food bank, share your professional talents with a nonprofit board or make a financial contribution to a cause close to your heart, every act of service matters.
