Graduation Checklist for Sept-Jan

Apply to graduate in Elucian through your student portal. If you have questions about the application process, please contact the Registrar’s Office:

  3. Mark your calendars to attend the following events (details for all to follow):
    • Feb 6, 2026: Grad Fair (Campus Center)
    • April 17: Cap & Gown Pick up (Campus Center)
    • May 1: Baccalaureate Ecumenical Worship Service (Shattuck)
    • May 8: Graduate Commencement Ceremony (Main Lawn)
    • May 9: Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony (Main Lawn)
  4. Inclement Weather Plan:
    • We plan for glorious spring weather and outdoor ceremonies on Main Lawn where you can bring as many guests as you like without needing tickets. However, sometime Mother Nature has her own plans that don't align with ours. In the event of drizzle, light rain, or steady rain, we will still be outdoors. Please dress appropriately. Ponchos will also be provided for all graduates. In the event of severe weather that would make being outdoors unsafe, we will move indoors and communicate that via this website, email and the PioAlert system by noon on Friday for the Graduate ceremony and 7 am on Saturday for Undergraduate. 
    • Only if we move indoors will guests need wristbands for entry. Graduates may pick up their wristbands at check-in. Undergraduates will have their wristbands included in their cap and gown order on April 14.
  5. DO NOT LOSE YOUR WRISTBANDS. THEY WILL NOT BE REPLACED.

Baccalaureate: Blessing of the Graduates


This is a time for graduates to reflect on their formative years at Carroll University. The service honors Carroll's religious heritage and culminates with a special blessing for the Class of 2026. Guests from all religious traditions (or from none at all) are warmly invited to attend.
