Scholarship Information

More than 98 percent of Carroll University students receive scholarship assistance, which helps them find a balance between studies, work and extra-curricular activities. Scholarships play a key role in maintaining Carroll's accessibility for all students.

2015-2016 Scholarship Amounts

  • TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP* - Four-Year Amount: $68,000 - Renewable scholarship of $17,000 per year.
  • VOORHEES SCHOLARSHIP* - Four-Year Amount: $60,000 - Renewable scholarship of $15,000 per year.
  • CHARLES CARROLL SCHOLARSHIP* - Four-Year Amount: $56,000 - Renewable scholarship of $14,000 per year.
  • PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP* - Four-Year Amount: $48,000 - Renewable scholarship of $12,000 per year.

*A student is eligible for only one of these scholarships and it will be awarded at the time of acceptance to Carroll University. These amounts do not increase from year to year.

Additional Scholarships

Scholarship Amount per Year Qualifications
MacAllister and Yersin Full Tuition Scholarship Full Tuition Requires special application and on-campus interview. The recipient is not eligible for any other Carroll scholarships or grants.
Davies Otto $2,500 - $10,000 Outstanding students who plan to major in science, computer science or mathematics. Requires special application and interview.
Music Scholarship Various Amounts Based upon audition.
Theatre Scholarship Various Amounts Theatre majors and minors. Based upon audition.
Les Klug Photography Scholarship $500 One Year Scholarship Les Klug Photography Scholarship Major in Photography or Art. Requires special application and submission of photography portfolio.
Anne Hardy Art Scholarship $1,000:  First Year
$500:  Second Year
$250:  Third Year
Anne Hardy Art Scholarship Major in Art or Photography. Requires special application and submission of an art portfolio.
Jack and Corrine Reichert Endowed Scholarship Minimum of $2,000 Students from West Allis Central or Nathan Hale High School with 2.0 or higher GPA. Requires special application.
George F. Kennan Fellowship $1,250 Major in History. Requires special application and interview.
Nevins Endowed Engineering Scholarship $1,000/year Students intending to major in Carroll University's 3+2 Pre-Engineering program.
George and Gerald Bitters Endowed Scholarship $1,000 - $3,000 Students from South Milwaukee or Cudahy High School with 2.0 or higher GPA. Requires special application.

 

*Unless otherwise noted, scholarships are renewable for four years as long as the student maintains full-time undergraduate status.

*A student is eligible for only one of these scholarships. However, an academic scholarship and additional awards can be received.

Hilger Tradition Award $500, Renewable Available to children, grandchildren or siblings of alumni/current students; awarded at time of acceptance.
Waukesha State Bank $1,000 One Year Scholarship For seniors who reside or attend high school in Waukesha County and plan to attend Carroll full time in the fall. A special application is required.
