Friday, March 4

Cap and Gown Orders Due

Cap, Gown and Hood orders are placed through the Application to Graduate filled out for the Registrar's Office. Most students will have completed these forms well in advance of Commencement. Your initial response regarding attending commencement and height for gown size is noted in an email you receive from the Registrar near the beginning of spring semester. If you need to make any changes to your original responses, or have not yet filled out the Application to Graduate, that must be done by March 4th.
Monday, March 21

Kickoff to Commencement | 3 - 6 p.m. | Campus Center Lobby

Stop by the tables in the Campus Center lobby and order Graduation Announcements, a Class Ring, an international flag stole to wear on Commencement Day to represent the country where you completed your CCE, Vote for your Class Speaker and much more.
Thursday, April 7

Red, White and You | 6 - 8 p.m. | University President's House

An evening of networking with Carroll Alumni, wine sampling and refreshments with a patriotic flare - it is primary week, after all! Enjoy this time of conversation in a relaxed environment to connect with and learn from alumni in successfully launching their professional path. This event is free. Limited to 30 participants. Attendees must be 21 years of age and older.
Monday, April 25

Grad Fair | 1 - 7 p.m. | Stackner Ballroom

Undergraduates pick up your Cap and Gown! (Graduate Students will pick their regalia up in the Campus Center Pio Shop), have a formal portrait taken in a cap and gown, place orders for Graduation announcements, pick up your rain site tickets and have final questions about Commencement day answered.
Wednesday, May 4

Brewers and Brunch | 10:30 a.m. | Crofts Morava Pavilion

Join fellow seniors for the Senior Week Kickoff Event! Start with a brunch tailgate on campus, then transportation will be provided to Miller Park for the 12:40 p.m. Brewers game against the Los Angeles Angels. $10 tickets (includes brunch, transportation and game ticket) will go on sale at the Campus Center Information Desk on March 22.
Thursday, May 5

Champagne Toast Block Party | 4 p.m. | Main Lawn

Celebrate the successful completion of Final Exams at the Block Party with the Class of 2016. Join President Hastad for your champagne toast, pick up your senior t-shirt, enjoy grilled food, yard games, the senior class photo and more!

I Love 2012 Bingo! | 7 p.m. | Main Dining Room

Four years ago many of our seniors first entered Carroll University. Time sure flies! Join us for a Seniors only bingo to look back at the events of the past four years, listen to some of the top hits from 2012, and share in one of Carroll's favorite student traditions one last time! Refreshments will be available as well as lots of prizes! Free!

Choose Your Own Adventure | Evening | Downtown Waukesha

As Pioneers, you've explored Historic Downtown Waukesha and know that its filled with unique shops, nightlife, antique malls, art galleries and fun cafés! Take advantage of special Carroll University graduate discounts for one night and one night only. Don't forget your PiONEer Card!
Saturday May 7

Nursing Pinning Ceremony | 1 p.m. | Shattuck Auditorium

The Nursing Pinning Ceremony is a symbolic reward for those who have successfully completed the course of study for nursing. The program includes a keynote speaker, awards presentation, speech by the senior class representative, slideshow presentation, candle lighting ceremony and reciting the Nurse's Pledge.

Baccalaureate Service | 5 p.m. | Shattuck Auditorium

Baccalaureate is a nondenominational worship service, and the final convocation of a Carroll Student's education. The hour long service is a time to reflect on their time at Carroll before the big celebration the next day. Reception to follow in the Campus Center Main Dining Room.

Sunday, May 8

Commencement Breakfast | 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. | Main Dining Room

Stop by the MDR for an all-you-care-to-eat breakfast. You can eat in the Main Dining Room or fill a plate and take it back out to Main Lawn with you to eat while you wait for the main event. Tickets should be purchased in advance at

Commencement Ceremony | 10:30 a.m. | Main Lawn

The event you have been waiting for! Commencement is the ceremony at which degrees are conferred. It features bagpipers leading the procession of graduates, speeches by Carroll's President, the chair of the board of trustees, the class speaker and a keynote address.

Graduate lineup is in the Shattuck Music Center at 9:30 a.m. Reception to follow ceremony on the Quad Lawn (behind Main Hall). Visit the Commencement Ceremony page for further details.
Thursday, May 26

Young Alumni & Young at Heart Event | 6 - 8 p.m. | Café Centraal in Bay View, Wis.

Attend your first alumni event as a recent graduate of Carroll University. Mingle and network with other Carroll alumni while enjoying food and drink at one of the Milwaukee-area's best restaurants. There are three events per year in this series - all are informal and held at various locations throughout the greater Milwaukee area. There is no cost for this event.
