Hi! I’m Mandy Balek-Stephens, the director of academic advising services. I am excited to meet and work with you throughout your time here at Carroll University! I found my passion for academic advising working as an exploratory advisor while in graduate school for higher education counseling. I enjoy working with exploring and major-changing students, helping them discover what they are passionate about learning through discussing their strengths, values and interests.
My favorite things to do outside of work are taking time with my wife and son outside. We enjoy kayaking, hiking and watching sporting events together.
Hi! My name is Amanda Delaney and I have been at Carroll University since 2007 primarily working in the Admission Office. In 2015, I made the switch to Academic Advising Services because of my strong desire to assist students with their academic and career planning during their time here at Carroll. I look forward to supporting you as you grow and work to achieve your academic and professional goals.
I live in Waukesha with my husband and three children, who keep us busy with their various activities—dance, baton, soccer, bowling…
Hey! I’m Larry Pardo, an Academic Advisor here at Carroll University. I found my passion for higher education as an undergraduate student and my experiences there led to me pursuing a graduate degree in higher education leadership. I look forward to supporting you as you explore your passions, interests and talents while on your academic journey here at Carroll!
I enjoy traveling abroad and have been to Germany, Austria, Mexico, Belize and Honduras. I also enjoy being outdoors—camping, hiking, kayaking and canoeing are just some of the activities I enjoy!
Hi! I’m Lucy Glaser, Carroll’s Health and Medical Sciences Advisor. I advise students in our Health Sciences programs for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Radiologic Technology and also coordinate the Bound for Success pre-health advising program. I use my diverse past experiences in education to advise the whole student and aim to provide support and resources as students discover their passions and explore all of the opportunities available to them.
I live in Waukesha with my husband and two daughters and love spending time outdoors, cooking and listening to live music.
