Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs

Carroll University invites nominations and applications for its Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. New leadership will be asked to move an already innovative academic program to new levels of accomplishment at a time of significant progress at the University.

The Application Process

Application materials should include:

  1. A letter of candidacy that responds in detail to the Agenda for, and desired qualifications of, the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
  2. A complete CV or résumé.
  3. The names and contact information (phone and email) for three references, none of whom will be contacted until a later stage of the search (and not without the candidate’s formal permission).

Leadership Profile

The successful candidate at Carroll will possess a combination of personal qualities and professional experiences that match the expectations outlined in the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Search Profile. The desired candidate will also hold a Ph.D. or other terminal degree and possess a strong record of academic teaching, strategic and data-driven experience, superb communication skills, excellent financial management experience, and demonstrate a progression in academic administrative positions including serving as a Dean or sitting Provost.
