Instructional Design @ Carroll

Support for Educators

Our instructional design team is available to help all Carroll educators – individuals or small groups - with designing and developing a range of learning experiences, such as:

Whether you are developing something new or looking to take an existing idea in new directions, we offer consultations and feedback on learning design, teaching practices, and technology integration so you feel empowered to produce an engaging experience for your learners.

Applied Foundations

If you are looking to gain more confidence in foundational principles and practices of effective instruction, then we can help you answer questions such as:

How can I design a course or event to meet learning goals?
How can I make sure assessments measure learning outcomes accurately?
What are some activities I could incorporate to promote engagement?
What methods and technologies would enable my learners to achieve desired outcomes?

Experimental Growth

If you are looking to go farther with your instruction and explore new approaches to teaching and learning, then we can help you answer questions such as:

How can I become a more inclusive, equitable educator?
What are some strong teaching practices that suit my approach to learning?
How can I integrate technology more effectively to support learning?
How can I build out accessible, engaging content across in person and online learning?

To start collaborating with an instructional designer, please submit an Instructional Design Services Request or email instructionaldesign@carrollu.edu.
