Simulation Uses for Educating Nurses Micro-Credential

This micro-credential explores using simulation to educate nurses in both an academic and clinical setting. Participants will learn the theory and current standards for simulation education. Participants will have opportunities to experience simulations along with the development of a simulation and debriefing of a simulation.

Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this micro-credential, participants will:

  • Understand the theory utilized with simulation education in nursing.
  • Apply theoretical concepts to the development, implementation, and evaluation of simulated experiences.
  • Construct pre-briefing and debriefing sessions that incorporate evidence-based techniques.
