Onboarding 101

As a manager, your role is critical in properly onboarding new employees for their success as well as the success of your team and Carroll University as a whole.  This workshop will introduce you to Carroll University’s enhanced onboarding road map to ensure your new employee is successful.

Continuous Performance Management: Coaching and Counseling Employees

Continuous Performance Management is an ongoing performance review process conducted throughout the year.  As a manager, this process can help you create clear and regular communication with your team members, fostering a healthy and open relationship, hopefully avoiding the need to place someone on a Performance Improvement Plan. This workshop will guide you through the concepts behind the process, the many benefits and how to implement continuous performance management with your teams.

Stay Interviews/Stay Programs

How to Have Difficult Conversations & Resolving Conflict

Workplace conflict and tension are inevitable; when leading teams or supervising others, we may face tricky conversations on a range of topics.  This workshop combines the two most popular sessions of Spring 2022.   This workshop will guide you through how to manage difficult conversations in the workplace.  We will touch on typical conversations, best practice and what to do before/during/after the conversation.
