How to Write Performance Reviews and Set SMART Goals

In this workshop we will discuss do’s and don’ts related to performance review to ensure it fosters the employee’s engagement and reinforces expectations related to goals and objectives.  The workshop will also provide take-a-ways to ensure you are working to set SMART goals which will allow employees to focus attention and resources on what is important to successfully achieve priorities.

 

How to Manage Difficult Conversations

Workplace conflict and tension are inevitable; when leading teams or supervising others, we may face tricky conversations on a range of topics.  When handled correctly, these conversations can be turned into opportunities to fix problems, build trust, boost respect and understanding.  This workshop will guide you through how to manage difficult conversations in the workplace.  We will touch on typical conversations, best practice and what to do before/during/after the conversation.

 

Resolving Conflict

FMLA (Family & Medical Leave Act) for Managers

The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is a federal law that provides eligible employees with unpaid, job-protected leave for specified family or medical reasons.  As a manager it is essential to understand what FMLA is, your role and HR’s role.
