Intersectional Leadership
Time & Day | TBD

Drawing on Niki Latino's Inclusive Leadership Framework, this workshop supports leaders at all levels as they consider the intersection of their personal identities, social justice, and professional practices within higher education. We'll explore Latino's framework through a variety of examples, and use interactive learning methods coupled with personal reflection to identify our individual and communal areas for growth.

Deliberative Dialogue Toward Justice-Oriented Practice
Fall 2021 | Wrapped into 6 sessions of CCS100

After more than six months of research, listening, and learning, in Fall '21 we will pilot our work using deliberative dialogue to build more inclusive, equitable, and justice-oriented practices at CU. Through six sections of the Cross-Cultural Seminar course (CCS100), a team of twelve people consisting of faculty, administrators, professionals, and orientation mentors (OM’s) will lead a five-week dialogue program that places an enhanced focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at the university.

By the end of the five-week dialogue program, students will have addressed challenging, controversial, and complex conversations that will create shared spaces for learning, growth, and positive change across campus.

Facilitated by Michele Criss, Oklahoma State University's Center for Public Life & Scottee Hoff, Carroll University Student President
