Dr. Vicky Goodin
Dr. Vicky Goodin is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and Leadership Consultant. For over 30 years, Vicky has dedicated herself to helping individuals and teams develop to their fullest potential in higher education and business. She has developed and conducted training courses for higher education and industry in the areas of professional and career development, leadership development, team building, and communication. Additionally, she has served as an executive university administrator, presented at national and regional professional conferences, and taught undergraduate and graduate courses.
She understands organizational culture from all levels. Having served in senior-level administration, Vicky has a well-rounded perspective on personnel issues from different positions within organizations, including recruitment, team training, goal setting, and retention. She utilizes her executive experience to develop teams using multiple non-cognitive assessments, strategies, and professional training designed specifically for employee engagement. She has developed and implemented hundreds of face-to-face organizational training sessions and retreats for both executive leaders and students. She has spent a lifetime creating workplace environments where employees feel valued, appreciated and respected for their contributions to the organization.
Vicky earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Longwood University, Farmville, Virginia and a Master’s degree in Counseling and Development from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA. She completed her doctoral work, earning an EdD in Higher Education Administration, at Florida International University. She has trained with the Gallup organization in London and is certified as one of the 10,000 global coaches certified in CliftonStrengths.
