Join the Research and Creative Practice Community!
This community was started by Erin Taylor (Assistant Professor in Chemistry) for both faculty and staff to support professional development in research, scholarship, and creative practice. The community is a great way to get out of your office bubble, meet people you might not see on campus, and make progress in your scholarship goals.
What Does the Community Do?
Typically, the community meets every 2 weeks for 1 hour to socialize with peers across different disciplines, set goals for our work, hold each other accountable, and celebrate each other's victories. Members last year said these meetings were worth the time! We can also set up multiple groups within the community for those who want to focus on specific areas. So new members are encouraged to join us!
