Eugene L. Noth
Gene built a distinguished career as a software engineer in the aerospace industry, working for more than 30 years in Los Angeles with TRW Systems, now part of Northrop Grumman Space & Mission Systems Corp.. As part of the missile and space division, he contributed to significant advancements in aerospace technology during a transformative era in American space exploration. During the historic moon landing in July 1969, Gene was stationed in Australia, where he provided aid and support to the NASA team involved in the mission.
Following his retirement, Gene lived a quiet and private life in California until his passing in March 2016. His legacy, however, continues through his generosity and commitment to education.
The Eugene L. Noth ’65 Endowed Scholarship Fund at Carroll University supports students pursuing engineering, computer science and related degrees, honoring Gene’s accomplished career in the aerospace and technology industries while helping future generations pursue their academic and professional goals.
