UNAFF Traveling Film Festival
We are delighted to announce the 16th UNAFF (United Nations Association Film Festival) Traveling Film Festival Waukesha, which was founded in 1998 by Stanford educator and film critic Jasmina Bojic in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

After moving online in 2020 because of Covid-19, we are extremely excited to return to our regular in-person format this year. In order to provide a safe experience to our audience and our community at large, we have devised Covid-19 protocols in accordance with the guidelines of our County and our State and we count on our audience, staff, guests, panelists and volunteers to read them and help us uphold them.

The 16th UNAFF Traveling Film Festival Waukesha will be held on November 17th at Carroll University. This year’s theme MOVING FORWARD continues our over two-decade-long celebration of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, emphasizing our readiness to resume resolute strides towards lasting solutions.

As one of the oldest solely documentary film festivals in the US, UNAFF has grown and earned the respect of audiences and filmmakers alike for its fearless independence and integrity. In addition to providing early outlets for films, many of which later went on to win major awards and accolades, UNAFF prides itself in creating a community forum with year-round programs facilitating education and dialogue about different cultures, issues, and solutions.
