Convocation Event | Campus Rape Cultures – Why does it still exist

This speaking event will provide a context about rape culture and rape myths that appreciates the role of society in creating masculinity and femininity traditions. It explores why rape myths are easily believed, but also why we must alter our implicit biases of victim blaming in not seeing the full definitional concerns of sexual assault and consent. It provides a voice towards solutions and ways a person/program/campus can realistically move forward and out of rape cultures.

Presented by Faculty Member and Author, Professor Jennifer Huck
