Pioneering From Home: Choc It Up to Good Taste! Chocolate Class & Tasting with Bryn (Viel) Kirk ‘87

Chocolate-lovers unite! Join alumna Bryn (Viel) Kirk ’87, owner and instructor from Chocolate University Online, for this delicious virtual tasting experience. The climates in which cacao beans are grown produce unique flavors that can make one chocolate bar taste very different from another chocolate bar. This variation in flavors makes tasting chocolate like tasting wine. So similar in fact, fermentation is key to chocolate’s flavor development. Become a sensory analyst (taste tester!) for a night and discover the many nuanced flavors in chocolate by comparing them side by side. Learn how to distinguish good chocolate from great chocolate.
