International Education Week | Nov. 12-16

Celebrate and honor the many international cultures on Carroll University's campus, as well as the ongoing opportunities Carroll provides to explore the world during International Education Week 2018!

November 12-16, 2018 

All Week Long 

  • Each day of International Education Week, the Gert Ullsperger Main Dining Room (MDR) will be cooking up an entree that an international Pioneer has provided from their country. Countries represented include Peru, Ghana, Sweden, China and Austria. Check the Dining Services page for specific dates and menu items.
Daily Activities
Monday, November 12 | Amazing Scavenger Hunt | 5:30-7:30 p.m. | Ratzow Room, Campus Center
Join us for a race around campus! Using the Goosechase mobile app, complete as many tasks as you can before time runs out. First and second place teams will win a prize! Teams should be 2-4 students.
Tuesday, November 13 | Faculty and Staff Lunch ‘n’ Learn on Campus Internationalization | 12-1 p.m. | Ratzow Room, Campus Center | **RSVP required**
Please RSVP to join us for an event hosted by international education. We will discuss best practices in campus internationalization. Lunch provided, but limited to 20 participants. Sign up here.  
Wednesday, November 14 | Travel Testimonials | Lobby, Campus Center 
Current international students, study abroad returnees and current international educators on campus share their travel stories in the Campus Center. Brownies will be handed out during the day!
**A reminder that Wednesday, our campus is hosting a UNAFF (United Nations Association Film Festival) event. Showings are taking place in the Stackner Ballroom in the Campus Center from 9 a.m.-10 p.m. 
Thursday, November 15 | Sushi Night and International Street Fair | 6-8 p.m. | Stackner Ballroom, Campus Center
Sponsored by Residence Life and International Education. Please join us for a sushi-rolling demonstration, as well as an opportunity to learn more about the cultures we have present in Carroll’s community. Students will be displaying artifacts and stories from their homes outside of the U.S. and CCE course information will be on display. Free appetizers and a raffle prize at the end!
Friday, November 16 | International Game Night | 6:30-8:30 p.m. | International Student Lounge (MacAllister Hall 111)
Join us in the International Student Lounge to play both international and American games. Snacks provided.
