How do I get a parking permit?

Complete the resident or commuter application on the Public Safety parking information webpages, under “general parking information”.

When do parking permits become available?

Resident and Commuter applications become available on-line starting July 20, 2020. Resident permits will be delivered to your campus mailbox following ONLINE payment.

Commuter permits will be mailed via US Mail to the address listed on your application, following receipt of your application.

I plan to arrive early to campus with a car, what do I do about a permit?

Permits are not needed on cars until they go into effect on Aug. 23, 2020, at 10:00 p.m.

What lots can commuters park in?

The commuter ‘only’ lot on campus – Lot 11. Also lots 3, 5N, 9, 10, 12, 17, 24.

What if I change vehicles during the school year?

Remove your current permit from your windshield, bring that current permit back to Public Safety and we can get you a replacement permit for your new vehicle.

When will I find out the status of my Freshman Waiver form?

The committee meets weekly to review freshman waivers and results will be emailed to your Carroll email address.

What if I’m not awarded a spot by my resident hall?

All student parking on campus is within walking distance. If further assistance is needed from the spot you park in, please feel free to call the shuttle for assistance.

Where can my guests park?

Due to COVID-19 restrictions for the 2020-2021 school year, guests are not allowed on campus.
